SRC is always Texas , LIN is Nebraska. Also when you input the receipt number in USCIS case status website it tells you which center this application is with.
Hey stldude, you reported that ur LUD had changed to 07/28 right? What was the original LUD?
Maybe the recent LUD change might be an indicator of when NSC shipped stuff to TSC? They may be doing batch processing. JUST a THOUGHT

Folks...
Dates move ahead means almost all people before 8 Jan 2005 will get their GC in Sep 2009.
If that comes not true then DOS has given Spill over visas to Eb2 india on day 1 of new quarter and will do same for every quarter. If this is the case then date will move forward only in Jan 2010 bulletin.
and if they moved date forward because there are only few hundreds case between Jan 8 and Jan 22 2005 then we will see very big movement in Aug - Sep 2009. There are very few Labor since Nov 2008. So Eb2 ROW will not utilize even 10k visas in next year thus Eb2 row will donate 20k + visas to Eb2 india and Eb1 do same ... if Eb4 and Eb5 doesnot get renewal before Sep 30th then expect 5k more visas total almost 55k Spill over to Eb2 india and China which will make Eb2 C by Sep 2010..

I know a lot of people might have suggested you different things for your well being.I would really like to suggest to please try Ramdev's yoga.If possible plan a trip to India and attend a camp.Several thousand people with chronic illnesses for which medical science had apparently no cure,have fully recovered .I would really suggest you to try:http://divyayoga.com/main.htm
May be you can subscribe to Aastha channel.They show interviews of people who have recovered from last stages of cancer.

I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.
I have filed 485 with approved 140 back in june, 2007 with PD of March, 2003

Giving Pay stubs instead of FUTURE employment letter ?
That may be a RFE and then eventually you have to give that letter and do more bargaining with your employer...
I am clarifying myself again. I did not mean to suggest that pay stubs can be used in lieu of FUTURE employment letter.
In any case, why not change your employer after 6 months of filing for your I-485. From the way they are treating you, you should be the first one to invoke AC21.
I don't think you will get a RFE within 6 months, but of course you never know. But if we assume normal processing times, I am sure your new employer would give you a letter. However, do consult with an attorney before changing jobs to make sure the job is "same" or "similar".

My lawyer is taking his own sweet time to apply. It is frustrating. Do you guys think that there is any chance that they will stop taking 485 applications at some point before 30 june? Please reply...we are worried.

I was able to get approved for 100% financing for an investment property (which is even harder to get financing for). I decided not to buy it later though.
Always try different kinds of lenders. Big banks, small banks, credit unions. Also try mortgage brokers. Sooner or later you'll make a hit.

In the SR, was there any timeframe such as wait for 30/60/90 days?
I sent an email to my congressman immigration staffer on Monday, about my spouse's case ( EB2 I, Dec 2005). Got a snail mail yesterday that they did not get a response and are still waitng for a response. Today, i called their office and they said they got a response and the case is assigned to on officer and wait till September 10th. My wife had spoken to 2 tier support on Auguts 5th who said your case is assigned to an officer and you are pre adjucated. We also got a response to our SR created on August 5th, which says case under review. I guess the wait goes on.
